Cameron Ricci - State President of the New York State Elks Association, 2022-2023

Our State President is from Herkimer Lodge #1439.  He joined the Elks in the Spring of 1987, because he liked to play softball and bowl.  His team won the Team Event at the NYS Bowling Tournament.  He has also participated in multiple CP Softball Tournaments hosted by Herkimer Lodge.

In the Spring of 1997, Cameron (Cam as he is known by most) became an officer and began his ritual journey as the Lodge Esquire.  The Herkimer team placed 1st at the Grand Lodge Convention that year.  He was also a part of the Herkimer teams that went to Grand Lodge, during his Est. Lecturing Knight, Est. Loyal Knight, and Est. Leading Knight years, earning 1st All-American Leading Knight.  As Exalted Ruler in 2000-2001, his team went to Grand Lodge again, and the team placed 2nd nationally.

He has been on the House Committee, a Trustee of the Lodge, and Secretary of the Lodge for six years.  At the District Level, he chaired the Accident Prevention and Risk Management Committee.  Cam earned Elk of the Year in 2008-2009.  In 2010, SP Cam became the State Accident Prevention and Risk Management Chairman, holding the position until 2022.

Cam led the Central District of New York State as District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler in 2018-2019.

Cam and Jo-Anne proudly represent our State Association as State President and First Lady.
