Meet Our State President

Kevin Connolly
Pearl River Lodge #2041
Kevin Connolly was initiated into Pearl River Lodge on November 18th, 1986.  From the onset, Kevin was very active, serving on the House Committee, Membership Retention and Major Projects. It was then that he started his journey through the chairs, eventually serving as Exalted Ruler in 2003 and 2004. He was Lodge Treasurer from 2005-2008. He assumed the position of Lodge Secretary from 2010 to 2023.
Kevin became active on the District level starting in 2005, being appointed Accident Prevention Chair.  Shortly afterwards, he was appointed as VETERANS AFFAIRS VOLUNTEER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE for the Montrose Veterans Hospital, a position he held for seven years.
Upon completion of that position, he was elected Secretary of our South District PAST DISTRICT DEPUTY/ PAST STATE VICE PRESIDENT Association, a position he holds to this day.
For ten years, he has coordinated and organized the South District Hospitality Room at the State Conventions and the Fall Conferences.
In 2007, the South District elected Kevin to the office of State Vice President where he served under Past State President, Bruce Hidley. In 2009, South District Sponsors Richard T. Moore and myself advanced his candidacy as DISTRICT DEPUTY GRAND EXALTED RULER.  Kevin has served as Membership Chair of the NEW YORK STATE ELKS ASSOCIATION for three years and is a member of the Camp Bristol Founder Donor Honor Roll.
Kevin graduated from Nanuet High School and Iona College. He was employed by Consolidated Edison of NYC in 1989 until his recent retirement in March 2022. Kevin currently holds a position in the Department of Facilities with the Pearl River Education System.
